The smoke is swirling a little colder now, the holidays are upon us, and we’re officially trading our long summer cookouts for cozy winter gatherings. From everyone here at PJ’s Magic Smoke, we want to wish you a warm, flavorful, and incredibly Happy Holiday season!
It’s hard to believe another year has flown by. They say time flies when you’re having fun, and based on the amount of fire, flavor, and incredible food we’ve shared, this has been one heck of a fun year!
As we dust off the smokers for one last holiday feast, we wanted to take a moment to look back at everything we’ve accomplished together. After all, “Where There’s Smoke, There’s BBQ,” and where there’s BBQ, there’s always a story to tell.

Bringing Home the Hardware: Our Backyard Glory!
We started the year with a fantastic Family and Friends BBQ—a delicious day where everyone got to taste Pit Master Paul’s latest smoked creations and help us practice! This practice paid off in a big way:
- We competed in the Linglestown 3rd Annual Amateur BBQ Smoke Off, which proudly benefited the incredible Linglestown Fire Company.
- The smoke was perfect that day, and we are thrilled to announce that PJ’s Magic Smoke achieved an unprecedented sweep, winning FIRST PLACE in ALL FOUR CATEGORIES: Chicken, Ribs, Brisket, and Pork!
- It was an honor to compete, and an even greater honor to showcase our commitment to quality BBQ while supporting a great local cause.
Bringing the Flavor to Your Tailgate
We love sharing our award-winning flavor with our fans, and nothing gets the fire going like a good rivalry!
- Right before Thanksgiving, we hosted a hugely successful Rib Dinner Sale for the big EAGLES vs. COWBOYS game.
- The turnout was amazing, and we loved seeing so many of you grab a rack of our delicious ribs to fuel your game day celebrations. Thank you for your support!

As we celebrate the holidays, we are focused on making an even bigger difference in our community next year.
Our Biggest Project for the New Year: The PJ’s Magic Smoke Food Drive!
- Starting in the beginning of 2026, we will be hosting a major Food Drive to benefit our local food pantry, Manna on Main Street.
- This is a really great cause that reaches deep into our community, helping not just the less fortunate but also supporting seniors and families with children.
- We are hoping to get the local community involved and make this drive a huge success!
We will be posting more detailed information about the Food Drive right after the New Year. We are hoping to get the dates, drop-off locations, and information on how you can volunteer your time to help with this great cause posted soon!
